This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your nonpublic personal information (“NPI”) and other personal data when you interact with us online, offline, or through any services we provide.

3.2 Health Information Handling
Health information required by insurance carriers to process applications. This information is entered directly into the carrier’s secure application system and may also be included in the completed application forms that are attached to issued policy records we retain. We do not extract, index, or store health information in any separate database, and it is not used for marketing or profiling outside of the original product or service engagement.
Health Information Notice
VerityPath Finance may collect limited health information as part of the insurance application process. We are not a “covered entity” or “business associate” under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). Accordingly, HIPAA does not apply to us. However, we safeguard all such information in compliance with the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLBA), the FTC Safeguards Rule, and applicable Florida insurance privacy laws.
3.3 Special Handling of Sensitive Data
We do not store full Social Security numbers in our databases. When we retain policy documents containing Social Security numbers, we mask all but the last four digits in any copies we generate internally. We may securely retain a copy of a customer’s driver’s license or other government-issued identification for verification purposes, in compliance with applicable laws. All records containing NPI, including financial and health information contained in policy application documents, are stored using administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access.
3.4 Customer Account Data
When you purchase or are granted access to our client or agent portals, you will create a secure account. We collect only the information necessary to provide access and maintain your account, such as your name, email address, and login credentials. We may also track your portal activity (such as completed lessons, downloaded resources, or participation in programs) to improve your experience and ensure compliance with training requirements. For your security, we cannot view your password.
3.5 Shared Public Content
VerityPath Finance maintains branded social media accounts and may offer online spaces where clients or agents can interact, share ideas, and participate in discussions. Any information you choose to share in these spaces becomes public and is not treated as confidential NPI. We recommend you avoid sharing personal financial or sensitive information in public forums. Interactions on third-party platforms (such as Facebook or LinkedIn) are also subject to the privacy policies of those platforms.
